What Is Pace per Kilometre?
Pace per kilometre describes how long it takes to cover one kilometre.

Why Can Actual Race Time Differ From a Pace Projection?
The race projections shown by this calculator simply assume that the same pace continues over another distance.
Actual race performance can differ because of:
- Fitness;
- Distance-specific endurance;
- Elevation;
- Weather;
- Course surface;
- Fatigue;
- Hydration;
- Race strategy; and
- Training status.
The projection simply shows how long the distance would take if exactly the same pace could be maintained.

- Does not account for stops or pauses unless included in total time;
- Does not model fatigue over longer distances; and
